Towering

Calgary Stampede
Billing itself as “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth,”
the Calgary Stampede is a large festival, exhibition and rodeo.
It is one of Canada’s largest annual events and the world’s
largest outdoor rodeo. Cowboys from around the globe gather
here for 10 days of bull-riding, steer wrestling, bronco riding
and barrel racing. In the evening, the pounding of hooves and
trembling of the ground can only mean one thing, you are at
the evening Chuckwagon races. The highlight of the Stampede,
the exciting Chuckwagon races offer heart-stopping action followed
by a fabulous variety show featuring top-named entertainment.
The evening is capped off with a wonderful fireworks display.
Along
with the exciting Calgary Stampede, your Canadian Rockies holiday
includes a two night stay in the pretty mountain town of Jasper
along with a three night stay in Banff, Canada’s first
National Park. Whether it’s riding a Snocoach on a glacier,
taking a gondola to the top of a mountain, or cruising on a
