Day One — Chicago to Michigan Join your traveling companions (who are coming from across America) on a panoramic sightseeing tour of downtown Chicago. Later we depart for Michigan and arrive in Holland at the height of their Tulip Festival. This afternoon we visit Veldheer-DeKlomp Tulip Garden, Holland’s only tulip farm, ablaze with acres of tulips in brilliant color in a Dutch setting of windmills, drawbridges and canals. Dinner Day Two — Holland Tulip Festival This morning we return to Holland and visit the famous Windmill Island to see "De Zwaan," a 240-year-old working windmill. We also see a miniature Netherlands Village, a candle-making shop and an antique carousel with hand carved wooden horses and beautiful paintings. You will have free time to explore Holland on your own. This afternoon we have reserved seating at the Muziekparade (Music Parade), where nearly 40 bands and as many floats, giant helium balloons, horses, Klompen Dancers and much more perform along the parade route to the delight of young and old. Breakfast Day Three — Mackinac Island Today we ferry to Mackinac Island, where the charm of a bygone era is preserved. No automobiles are permitted and nothing intrudes on the serenity and natural beauty of the Island. Tour via horse-drawn carriage and then arrive at the crown jewel of Mackinac Island, The Grand Hotel, the world’s largest summer hotel, built in 1887 and our home for the next two nights. Breakfast and dinner Day Four — Explore Mackinac Island A full day at leisure on Mackinac Island. Browse the shops, sample the fudge, rent a bike and pedal along the coast of Lake Huron. Dinner again tonight is in the beautiful Grand Hotel dining room. Breakfast and dinner Day Five — A Bavarian Welcome Raise the stein of good cheer in Frankenmuth, also known as Michigan's "Little Bavaria." Stroll over Holz-Brucke, a 239-foot replica of an authentic 19th-century covered bridge, and visit the charming Bavarian-style shops that line the streets. A trip to Bronner's Christmas Wonderland, the world's largest Christmas store, is a Michigan must-see. Breakfast and dinner Day Six — Return Home This morning we make our way home with fond memories of our Michigan adventure. Breakfast
